Good Friends Tim Ellis and Michael Smith of “The Nordonia News” Feuding?

Michael Smith of “The Nordonia News” has gone completely unhinged and appears to be feuding with his close friend, Tim Ellis.

Late last night, Smith put up the poll shown below to “The Nordonia News” group. In the poll, he asks his followers if they’d be more likely to vote for a school board candidate who defends themselves online, or one who ignores the critics. We can only assume this is about Chad Lahrmer’s recent posts defending himself against Smith’s wild and untrue accusations, and the fact that Tim Ellis has not been on social media. Here’s the kicker though: Smith selected the option for the candidate who defends themselves online.

This morning, a Facebook page called “Never Ellis for Nordonia” was created and was immediately approved to comment on “The Nordonia News”. If you’ve ever tried to join “The Nordonia News” group, you’d know that Smith is very strict on who he lets in. He likes to say everyone is welcome, but the heaps of people on the block list who were never even members to begin with say otherwise. Once you are a member, the settings of the group do not allow you to post or comment until Smith himself approves you to do so.

A brand new page being approved to post there is something that’s never happened before, let alone a “smear page” about Smith’s close friend, Tim Ellis. It’s unclear who is running the anti-Ellis page, but given how quick it was approved to post and comment in “The Nordonia News”, we can only assume it is Smith himself, trying to get Ellis to join social media and “defend himself”. Smith did comment on the post made by the anti-Ellis page, but it’s not unusual for him to communicate with himself on his own fake profiles, as we’ve seen previously with his John Spencer account, and more recently with his Matt Chandler account.

A few hours after the “Never Ellis for Nordonia” post, Smith posted, yet again, implying he is not happy about the fact that Ellis is M.I.A. on social media.

Can these two close friends repair their tumultuous friendship? Are they not actually feuding at all, but rather trying to put distance between each other, so the public doesn’t know that Officer Ellis is close friends with career criminal Smith?
