Keep Abusive Officer Tim Ellis Off of Nordonia Hills School Board

Officer Tim Ellis of Sagamore Hills, Ohio is running for a position on the Nordonia Hills City Schools Board of Education.

Ellis has a proven violent background. The case of greatest concern is that of a Domestic Abuse of a mother and kidnapping of her child – see details in all the sources at this link.

There is no debate as to the guilt of Ellis. As part of the settlement to the mother, which ultimately cost taxpayers $650,000, Officer Ellis was deemed “exonerated” at the request of his superior. As we are well aware, “exonerated” does not mean “innocent”.

What this means, of course, is that Ellis GOT AWAY WITH ABUSING A WOMAN AND KIDNAPPING HER CHILD IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT.

In addition to this event, Ellis was fired by another city, Woodmere, for using a taser on a woman in her car during a traffic stop. He was again involved in two similar incidents in Sagamore Hills leading to suspension and psychological evaluation. In one, he forcibly removed a motorist from a vehicle during a routine traffic stop. In the other, he pepper sprayed a truck driver whom he had no basis for stopping in the first place.

Also, an internal review by a Sagamore Sergeant voiced concern about Ellis’ aggression, and his apparent inability to de-escalate tense situations.
